This major prepares students to have dual certification in early childhood education and childhood education for teaching from birth through grade 6.

B. Content Core: 31 credit hours
C. Pedagogy Courses: 50 or more credit hours
D. Concentration in an Approved Liberal Arts Area:
30-33 credit hours with a minimum of 18 credit hours at the 300 and 400 level.
Credit hours vary depending on area chosen. Requirements in General Education and content core may reduce the number of credit hours in a concentration. Approved concentrations include: biology, earth science, English language arts, environmental studies, French, humanities, mathematics, social sciences and Spanish. Total Credit Hours Required for graduation From the College: 124
