This major in the Geology Department provides a broad-based program designed to meet the professional and graduate school demands of environmental geoscience.
Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:
- Recall and explain how the natural world operates and how humans affect and are affected by their environment.
- Collect and analyze data using the methods and tools of environmental geoscience in field and laboratory settings.
- Communicate results and interpretations of environmental geoscience in written reports and papers.
- Communicate results and interpretations of environmental geoscience in spoken presentations.
- Apply the knowledge and skills of environmental geoscience to real-world problems and settings.
