The associate dean approves proposals for study abroad and course overloads and serves as the dean’s curricular representative at the school and college level and represents the school on the Graduate Faculty Executive Committee and oversees content on arts and sciences webpages.
Role of the Assistant Dean

Particular assignments will vary over time but often include representing the school in scholarship programs such as Honors Convocation, Chancellor's Award of Student Excellence and national fellowship awards. The assistant dean supports the associate dean on study abroad proposals and meeting with students on academic probation.
