PED 371 - Soccer

(A)This course will involve students in a learning environment centered on the technical and tactical aspects of soccer. Experiences will focus on acquiring skills and basic strategies using a tactical concepts style to teaching team sports. Learning processes will be developed within the games approach. Exposure to proper methodology and developmentally appropriate activities will help prepare students for subsequent teaching experiences (including adaptive modifications). Students will apply their knowledge by teaching one activity to the class.Notes: This course is usually a quarter course offered seasonally. Activity program for majors.(.5 cr. hr.)
