HIS 315 - History of the American West(B)The discovery, conquest, and settlement of the American West from 1500-1892. The primary focus will be on the trans-Mississippi west from approximately 1800-1892. Attention will be given to the history and image-building of individuals and groups who played a role in the West.Fulfills Liberal Arts Requirement: LASR(3 cr. hr.)
