PED 628 - Application of Motor Learning and Development Designed to apply theory, knowledge, insights, and skills to the study of human growth, motor learning, and motor development over the lifespan including observation of movement changes and their implications for the curriculum, instruction, and program design in physical education to enhance the motor learning of students. Corequisite: PED 625 and PED 655. (1 cr. hr.) Frequency code B = offered at least once per year
Student Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Evaluate and observe the dynamic growth and developmental process of individuals across the lifespan to include atypical motor development.
- Apply the concepts of key theories, current trends, issues and terminology related to motor learning and lifespan motor development.
- Implement varying motor learning concepts and theory though instructional delivery on specified motor tasks to contrast effectiveness.
