PED 658 - Graduate Student Teaching and Seminar in Physical Education Part I A student teaching seminar with the college supervisor is embedded in the student teaching experience. Full semester of supervised teaching in grades K-12. Prerequisites: Completion of all program requirements including all activity coursework, undergraduate course requirements, and PED 651 (C- or higher) and a cumulative 3.0 grade point average. H, S, U grades assigned. (6 cr. hr.) Frequency code F = offered in fall
Student Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Maintain a positive learning environment and culturally responsive instruction that draws upon diverse learners' varied backgrounds, needs, and development.
- Effectively guide students to develop disciplinary skills and content understandings that include central concepts and relevance to students' lives.
