SPM 655 - Sport Event and Facility Management

An overview of all the theoretical and practical elements involved in planning, organizing, staffing, marketing and implementing a sports event and managing related facilities. Particular attention is focused on human resources, fiscal and risk management, including security and insurance. Examination of cases of different types of events that occur in different environments under variable financial constraints. (3 cr. hr.)
