PED 611 - Research Methods in Physical Activity

Present the research process with emphasis upon critical evaluation of the various research methodologies. Prerequisite: PED 603. (3 cr. hr.)
Frequency code B = offered at least once per year

Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Identity and summarize the applications of research in physical education and sport. 
  2. Evaluate the process to conduct research studies in physical education and sport. 
  3. Differentiate the various types of research methodologies in physical education and sport. 
  4. Create and implement a research project that demonstrates knowledge about research processes in the field of physical education and sport.
