EDL 696 - SBL/SDL Internship in Educational Leadership A field experience practicum providing on-the-job experiences in educational leadership and administration at either the building or district levels. May be repeated up to five credit hours. Prerequisites: Completion of 21 credit hours of course work in the SBL or SDL C.A.S. program which must include the following courses: EDL 678 for students in either major, EDL 680 for SBL majors or EDL 690 for SDL majors. Program approval of the Internship Proposal. Special permission only. (Variable 1.5 to 5 cr. hr.) Frequency code A = offered every semester
Student Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Maintain a positive learning environment and culturally responsive instruction that draws upon diverse learners' varied backgrounds, needs, and development.
- Effectively guide students to develop disciplinary skills and content understandings that include central concepts and relevance to students' lives.
