ANT 550 - Independent Study in Anthropology Individual studies in selected areas. Not open to students with credit for ANT 555. Prerequisites: Twelve hours of general anthropology including ANT 102 and 300, consent of department, junior or senior standing. (3 cr. hr.) Frequency code A = offered every semester
Student Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Explain anthropological methodologies employed in fieldwork or lab-based analysis.
- Critique past and present theoretical frameworks used to explain cultural phenomena.
