ANT 550 - Independent Study in Anthropology Individual studies in selected areas. Not open to students with credit for ANT 555. Prerequisites: Twelve hours of general anthropology including ANT 102 and 300, consent of department, junior or senior standing. (3 cr. hr.)

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Explain anthropological methodologies employed in fieldwork or lab-based analysis.
- Critique past and present theoretical frameworks used to explain cultural phenomena.
