RLS 140 - Judaism: Historic Insights and Perspectives Examines the historical development of Judaism as a religion, culture, ethnicity, nationality and civilization. Topics may include: connection of Judaism to Western civilization and religions; major holy days and general rituals; challenges facing contemporary Judaism; and the relationship of Israel and Zionism to Judaism.
