PED 253 - Inclusive Activities in Physical Education Theoretical framework and practical applications for including students with unique attributes in physical education/activity programs, including resources regarding developmentally appropriate practices and current interventions that include children with disabilities in physical education/activity programs. Prerequisite: PED 201 which may be taken concurrently. (0.5 cr. hr.) Frequency code A = offered every semester
Student Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Explain the unique attributes of learners.
- Demonstrate the ability to modify the environment and task to accommodate the unique attributes of learners.
- Identify developmentally appropriate practices designed to address the unique attributes of learners.
- Identify and use resources for inclusive activities.
