HIS 303 - The American Republic, 1789-1840 Critical examination of the development of the Early Republic through Jacksonian America. Focus on the historiographical treatment of democratic culture, transformations in the home and marketplace and territorial expansion. Prerequisite: HIS 200 or 201. Fulfills: LASR. (3 cr. hr.)
