GLY 499 - Research Thesis in Geology Independent original research in the geological sciences, culminating in a substantial research paper to be written under the guidance of a geology faculty member. A prospectus for the thesis is required in advance of registration. Prerequisites: Nine credit hours of geology courses at the 300 level or above and consent of department. (3 cr. hr.) Frequency code B = offered at least once per year

- Explain research context, methods and outcomes in a written thesis.
