GLY 494 - Geology Laboratory Experience Service as assistant in laboratory sections of a geology course. Includes meetings with course instructor, advanced preparation for lab meetings, weekly attendance in the laboratory section while serving as instructional assistant in laboratory activities. May be taken twice for credit. Cannot be applied to any state teacher education requirement. Prerequisite: Permission of department. Grading: S, U grades are assigned. (1 cr. hr.)
