DNC 201 - Ballet II A continuation of the study and development of ballet technique, building on skills and concepts presented in Ballet I. Theoretical and practical vocabularies are expanded with more intricate and difficult combinations of steps and exercises. May be repeated for one additional credit hour. Prerequisite: DNC 101. (1 cr. hr.) Frequency code S = offered in spring
Student Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Perform an expanded repertoire of ballet technique.
- Use an expanded ballet vocabulary.
- Perform more complex technique, including turns, entrechat, allegro and adagio.
