PED 533 - Autism Spectrum Disorder and Physical Education Designed to provide the student with readings, discussions and activities related to the recognition of behaviors associated with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) in physical education. The emphasis of the course will be on identifying interventions that empower teachers to address the needs of students identified with the characteristics of ASD in physical education environments. (3 cr. hr.)
