18 credit hours (nine hours to be selected from each of the following two categories):
Appropriate alternate courses, of a technical or interdisciplinary nature, may be substituted for up to two of the six applied courses (one in each category), in consultation with and with the consent of the student’s advisor. Such courses may be offered by the economics, geography, history, internationalstudies, philosophy, political science, sociology and other departments.
