EXS 197 - History and Philosophy of Physical Education and Sport

(A)Devoted to study of physical education and sport and based on major historical events and associated philosophies that have shaped physical education and sport from ancient times to present. Examines basic concepts and current issues within physical education, play, cultural games and sports, athletics, fitness and wellness. Future trends explored.Fulfills: LASR.(3 cr. hr.)
