CRM 421 - Incarceration and the Family

Examines the ways the penal system is linked to and intertwined with the social institution of the family. Considers the impact of incarceration on family structure (and vice versa) as well as the influence of gender norms in prison life. Prerequisite: SOC 150 or ANT 102.  Also listed as SOC 421.
