CHE 277 - General Chemistry I Laboratory General Chemistry I Laboratory is the first semester of a year-long sequence in the chemistry laboratory. Students will learn basic laboratory techniques in the general chemistry area and be required to keep a professional lab notebook. Concepts from General Chemistry I Lecture will be emphasized and reinforced. Pre/Corequisite: CHE 227. Fulfills: GE 2, GENS, when completed with CHE 227; LASR. (1 cr. hr.) Frequency code A = offered every semester
Student Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Safely execute laboratory techniques and adapt them to new problems or situations.
- Apply mathematical methods to solve experimental chemistry problems.
