Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Describe terminology, trends, and historical perspectives of thanatology. 
  2. Assess the value of contemplating death in examining one's own personal life philosophy. 
  3. Compare traditional western death rituals with non-traditional death rituals.
  4. Describe legal aspects of death.
