ENG 252 - Introduction to Modern American Multicultural Literature

Introduction to prose, poetry and drama that reflects the diverse ethnic, cultural and social worlds of North America and the Caribbean today.   Prerequisite: CPN 100 or 102; or ENG 110 may be taken concurrently. Fulfills: GE 4, GEUS and GE 11, GEDI; LASR; PRES, GECP; WI. (3 cr. hr.)

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Relate the language and structure of a literary text to its content and meaning.
