BMS 460 - Biomedical Sciences Seminar Capstone experience in the biomedical sciences, emphasizing the critical analysis of primary research focused on human health. Students will analyze, interpret, and discuss the research literature and consider the findings' social and ethical aspects. Only open to juniors and seniors. Prerequisite: Permission of department. Fulfills: PRES, GECP. (1 cr. hr.) Frequency code S = offered in spring
Student Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate an understanding of current research in the biomedical sciences that impacts human health.
- Demonstrate the ability to critically analyze, interpret and discuss the primary research literature.
- Construct and deliver a presentation to convey complex scientific knowledge in the biomedical science field.
