SOC 596 - Independent Study in Sociology

Individual study in selected areas. Prerequisites: Fifteen hours of sociology, consent of department, junior or senior standing. (3-8 cr. hr.)
Frequency code A = offered every semester

Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Describe sociological methodologies employed in data gathering.
  2. Apply sociological imagination to contemporary human issues.
