REC 569 - Environmental and Cultural Interpretation Investigation of concepts and principles of environmental and cultural interpretation. Methods, techniques, resources used to design and prepare interpretive media, such as displays, materials, multimedia productions, trails and facilities in an increasingly multicultural society. Field trips and outdoor laboratory experiences. Not open to students with credit for REC 469. (3 cr. hr.) Frequency code C = offered at least once every two years
Student Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Explain environmental and cultural interpretation service delivery systems.
- Analyze the history, theory, science, and philosophy of environmental and cultural interpretation.
- Assess, plan, implement, document, and evaluate an environmental and cultural interpretation program.
