HIS 635 - Historiography of the American Revolution History and historiographical debates surrounding the American Revolution. Open only to students enrolled in M.A. in History, M.S.Ed. in adolescence education: social studies programs. (3 cr. hr.) Frequency code C = offered at least once every two years
Student Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Explain the historical significance of key themes, events, and people relevant to the history of the American Revolution.
- Assess the persuasiveness of historians' claims about the past.
- Identify the implications of historiographical innovations and debates for narratives about the history of the American Revolution.
