Student Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Identify and apply the key theories and models that guide the practice of health education.
- Practice communicating, promoting, and advocating for health and the profession of health education.
- Analyze the determinants of health issues and health-related behaviors.
- Analyze the roles, responsibilities and scope of practice for an ethical health educator.
- Develop a philosophy of health education.
