ATS 312 - Experimental Video

Students develop personal concepts through screenings, documentaries, artist work, critique, problem solving and technical workshops. Combining video and audio with a focus on artistic expression, experimental works are created. Prerequisite: ATS 114 or ATS 214. Fulfills: LASR. (3 cr. hr.)
Frequency code C = offered at least once every two years

Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Identify historical and technical import of digital media within the arts.
  2. Demonstrate an understanding of digital capture and presentation processes.
  3. Utilize digital tools to creatively solve design problems.
  4. Implement various creative and experimental uses of software in visual and audio compositions.
