SHH 371 - Fluency and Voice Fluency disorders and phonatory/resonance disorders (theories, characteristics, etiologies and clinical management) will be presented. Physical, cognitive and affective attributes of fluency/voice disorders will be discussed. Prerequisite: SHH 281. (3 cr. hr.) Frequency code S = offered in spring
Student Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Identify concepts and terminology associated with fluency and voice disorders.
- Explain assessment procedures for individuals with fluency and voice disorders.
- Describe general treatment approaches for fluency and voice disorders.
