Student Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Analyze the role of recreation in developing community.
- Outline the significant historical events that led to the establishment of municipal parks and recreation departments.
- Compare and contrast types of community recreation organizations.
- Explain various administrative aspects of community-based recreation including personnel, finances, facilities.
