Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Make use of algorithms to find solutions to real-world and mathematical problems.
  2. Translate a given algorithm to programming code as well as predict the output of given code.
  3. Identify syntax and logical errors in programming code.
  4. Make use of variables to store and process information.
  5. Use decision and control structures.
  6. Process information using input/output files.
  7. Make use of arrays to write programs for sorting and searching data.
