EXS 558 - Physiological Principles of Conditioning for Sports Application of physiological principles to development of specific conditioning components. Student Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Explain how strength and conditioning as it relates to athletics, as well as athletic training.
- Identify the concepts and applications of the exercise sciences based upon current research.
- Analyze the common exercises identified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association and the proper lifting and spotting techniques for those exercises.
- Identify the components of strength and conditioning program and be able to develop and design an effective program.
- Describe strength and conditioning professional's role in the strength and conditioning field.
