ENS 487 - Environmental Science Internship

Project-oriented internship with a government agency, industry, other private or public enterprise, or faculty member. Supervised application of scientific knowledge and skills to an environmental issue, project or study. Prerequisites: junior or senior status in environmental science concentration, consent of environmental science coordinator. Fulfills: LASR. (3-12 cr. hr.)
Frequency code A = offered every semester

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate professional behavior in a work place setting.
  2. Appraise their own learning from the internship experience.
  3. Explain technical content from the internship in a written report or paper.
