CIN 304 - Introduction to Play and Script Writing

Practical and theoretical instruction in basics of play and script writing. Prerequisite: Any English literature course at the 200 level. (3 cr. hr.)

Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Identify genre, audience, purpose, and context in scriptwriting.
  2. Compose well-developed verbal and written responses to film scripts.
  3. Create scripts with attention to engagement, sustainability, and copyright.
