CIN 208 - Introduction to Film Analysis

Introduction to analysis and interpretation of cinema as an art form.  Prerequisite: CPN 101 or CPN 103, which may be taken concurrently. Also listed as ENG 208. Fulfills: GE 7; LASR. (3 cr. hr.)

Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Relate the form and structure of a film to its content and meaning.
  2. Write well-developed verbal and written responses to film.
  3. Demonstrate familiarity with the analysis and interpretation of cinema as an art form.
