BMS 460 - Biomedical Sciences Seminar II Directed library research with emphasis on the conception, design and interpretation of results of research experiments. May be designed to extend and deepen understanding of scientific basis of previously undertaken internship. Students are required to lead one session in BMS 260 devoted to the topic of their research. Open only to juniors and seniors. Prerequisite: Permission of department. (2 cr. hr.) Frequency code S = offered in spring
Student Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate an understanding of current research in the biomedical sciences that impacts human health.
- Demonstrate the ability to critically analyze, interpret and discuss the primary research literature.
- Construct and deliver a presentation to convey complex scientific knowledge in the biomedical science field.
