ATS 316 - Silk Screen Printing Creating of fine prints by silk screen process. Various types of stencils explored, i.e. paper, cut film, tusche-glue, etc. Prerequisite: ATS 101, 102 or 107. Fulfills: LASR. Notes: The State University of New York College at Cortland reserves the right to select and retain indefinitely any student artwork done in connection with course work completed at the university.(3 cr. hr.) Frequency code C = offered at least once every two years
Student Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Assess one's own artwork and that of other students.
- Investigate advanced technical aspects of printing on paper, using multiple colors.
- Demonstrate the ability to produce identical prints in multiple impressions for editions.
