Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Identify classical literature in the field of Africana Studies in the selected topic area.
  2. Describe at least two intellectual foundations or theories in African American Studies in the selected topic area.
  3. Present cogent arguments in the selected topic area at the advanced level.
  4. Develop and design an original research question and complete a research paper.
