GLY 570 - Plate Tectonics Examination of the theory of plate tectonics, including critique of refereed scientific papers. Topics include geometry and driving forces of plate motions, and the geological and geophysical implications. Prerequisites: GLY 261 and twelve credit hours of geology, biology, chemistry and/or physics at the 300 level or above. Lecture/Lab Hours: One three-hour lecture/discussion. Fulfills: LASR.
