REC 611 - Background Readings in Outdoor Education

This course is designed for graduate students who are new to the study of outdoor education, environmental education and interpretation, outdoor pursuits and organized camping. Students will learn definitions, philosophies and historical development of these fields and related areas. Following this course, students can study these topics in-depth with a cognizance of their relationship to one another. (1 cr. hr.)
