MAT 502 - Applied Concepts in Adolescence Mathematics(B) Applications and extensions of concepts basic to secondary school mathematics. Topics discussed include Greek mathematics; Euclidean, hyperbolic and spherical geometries; number theory and fractals. Real world applications of the aforementioned topics will be a major component of the course. Prerequisite: Consent of department. (3 cr. hr.)
