MAT 502 - Applied Concepts in Adolescence Mathematics(M, S)Applications and extensions of concepts basic to secondary school mathematics. Topics discussed include Greek mathematics; Euclidean, hyperbolic and spherical geometries; number theory and fractals. Real world applications of the aforementioned topics will be a major component of the course.Prerequisite: Consent of department.(3 cr. hr.)
