HLH 461 - Health Care Finance(C)An analysis of health care financing in the U.S. The course investigates payment mechanisms, cost containment efforts, and the trends in third-party payments over time. The course will explore such concepts as risk sharing, cost-shifting, capitation, capital investments, strategic financial planning in a changing health care environment.Prerequisites: HLH 360 and ECO 111 or MGT 254, 255.Fulfills Liberal Arts (LAS) Requirement *(3 cr. hr.)
