The degree program has been designed for students interested in preparing for health careers in community/public health settings. Students participate in a full semester internship experience. A number of concentrations are available to help meet specific career interests of students.
Please note: The Health Science degree has been updated and revised to reflect current professional standards and trends. Beginning in the Fall 2009 semester, the name of the degree will change to Community Health. This revised program provides the same flexibility as the current health science degree while adding new key skills and competencies needed for entry level positions and graduate school programs in a variety of areas.
