Media Production [BS_PRO]

The media production major offered by the Communication and Media Studies Department  is a professionally oriented degree program designed to provide students with the creative and critical thinking skills needed in expanding sectors of contemporary media industries. The program seeks to balance a strong emphasis on skills acquisition and media aesthetics with deep understanding of the social and cultural contexts in which they are created.

Student Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:

  1. Examine various forms of communication as vehicles of human expression.
  2. Demonstrate technical proficiency in media content creation.
  3. Generate and format information through various media.
  4. Analyze the relationship between the media, culture and society.
  5. Demonstrate a significant understanding of media aesthetics.
