The minor in Graphic Design and Digital Media provides exposure to the changing area of digital media. Minors have the opportunity to develop digital skills in graphic design, typography, print processes, animation, interactive design, video, photography, audio and multimedia.

Requirements for the Minor
A. Core: 9 credit hours
These courses contain prerequisites.
B. Electives: Specialization in one of the following tracks:
Track A. Graphic Design Minor for ARTS and BFAS Majors [GDMA]: 12 credit hours
To be taken in addition to core group (9 cr. hr.)
1. Studio Course Requirement: 3 credit hours
2. Art History Requirement: 3 credit hours
3. Additional Elective Requirements: 6 credit hours
Some of these courses may require prerequisites.
Track B. Graphic Design Minor for Non-Art Majors [GDMB]: 15 credit hours
To be taken in addition to core group (9 cr. hr.)
1. Studio Course Requirement: 6 credit hours
2. Art History Requirement: 3 credit hours
Choose one.
3. Additional Elective Requirements: 6 credit hours

Total Credit Hours Required for the Minor: 21-24
