Childhood Education (1-6) [EDC]

The childhood education major prepares students to become elementary school teachers in grades 1-6. Students learn to develop curriculum in all areas of the New York State Learning Standards. For more information about this program, contact the Childhood/Early Childhood Education Department .

If a second major is selected as an alternative to the 30-credit hour concentration, the requirements will be listed in the academic department of the second major. I.
