In this International Studies Interdisciplinary Degree Program concentration, students will gain a strong background in economic theory and a clear understanding of key economic trends, issues and policies as they relate to globalization and the changing world economy.

A. Required Courses: IST Core: 15 credit hours

ECO 105 - Political Economy and Social Thought (3 cr. hr.)
HIS 101 - The World Since 1500 (3 cr. hr.)
IST 200 - Foundations of the International System (3 cr. hr.)
IST 210 - The Making of the Modern World (3 cr. hr.)
IST 400 - Themes in International Studies (3 cr. hr.)
Select IST 400, or a topic-approved course selected in consultation with advisor
